Job Title: Campaigns Assistant (CA)
Reporting to: Head of Dogs Trust Representative Office in Bosnia-Herzegovina
Location: Dogs Trust Representative Office in B-H, Sarajevo
Dogs Trust is a world renowned UK-based animal welfare charity which specialises in the well-being of dogs. A five-year project in Bosnia-Herzegovina, officially launched in October of 2012, will work closely with local stakeholders in establishing a self-sustainable dog population management system through several different local and national programmes.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Dogs Trust Representative Office in Bosnia-Herzegovina and coordinating closely with Neutering Programme Coordinator (NPC) and with Marketing and Communications Officer (MCO), CA will assist with implementation of Neutering Campaigns, in particular for owned dogs.
In an effort to increase a percentage of neutered owned dogs, CA will help develop and implement communication campaigns and events for dogs owners, help develop and distribute marketing materials, collect information about dog owners, organize telemarketing drives, engage in direct communication with local communities across Sarajevo Canton and represent Dogs Trust at public events.
CA may be in a position to occasionally handle and transport owned dogs.
CA will assist NPS with overseeing the work of dog catchers and serve as a back-up for NPS.
The applicant should possess the following experience, qualities and qualifications:

- Clean driving licence, as this role will involve considerable amount of travel within Sarajevo Canton
- Knowledge of English language
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends,
Desirable
- Sound knowledge of canine welfare and of responsible dog ownership principles, particularly neutering
- Experience in dog handling
- Familiarity with various local dog owner communities in Sarajevo Canton
- Experience in event organization,
whilst communicating and representing the Dogs Trust key messages:

- Responsible Dog Ownership, in particular importance of neutering, and positive attitude towards dogs

Position is full-time, permanent (for the duration of the Project), with a trial period of three months.
