The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) is a network of non-governmental organisations promoting freedom of speech, human rights, and democratic values in Southeast Europe. With local organisations across the Balkans and an editorial presence in other countries, BIRN is dedicated to empowering people to access their rights, providing accurate information, and fostering democratic processes.  BIRN Hub is an umbrella entity that coordinates the work of the BIRN Network. While each country organisation addresses domestic needs, BIRN Hub, registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, implements regional programmes.
 
BIRN Hub’s Project/Programme Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate and implement project/programme activities and will report to the Project/Programme Manager and/or Head of Programmes, who will assign duties as appropriate. 

Job Description

Project/Programme coordinator is responsible to propose plans and coordination activities related to implementation of relevant projects and to ensure those are delivered on time, within the agreed budget and to the highest standards. He/She will be responsible for organisation and implementation of events, trainings, conferences, online training/meeting events and similar, specifically providing logistic and other support and ensuring compliance with the Agenda and instructions. He/She will also contribute to design, implementation and management of activities, work closely with local, regional and international partners on coordination of activities, assist in production of narrative and financial reports and draft communication with stakeholders. Project/Programme Coordinator will be responsible for orderly archiving, maintenance od documents, tracking and collection of materials and data for evaluation processes and maintaining project-related web pages. 

Minimum Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s degree is an advantage. Exceptional organisational, prioritising and coordination skills. Valid driving licence and a clean diving record. At least three (3) years of professional experience. Excellent written and spoken English.
